Michelle Paradise has done what most in the entertainment industry would have said was impossible: Without a famous name, without a famous agent (or any agent, for that matter), she created, executive produced, wrote, and is starring in her own television series.

When the series, Exes & Ohs, premieres on Logo (an MTV channel) in October, it will certainly not be the first time that audiences are introduced to this award-winning writer, actor, and producer.

Michelle wrote and starred in the multi-award-winning short film, The Ten Rules, upon which Exes & Ohs is based. She partnered with Bill Grundfest (writer/producer, Mad About You) to develop the short into a series, and then went on to write every episode of the Exes & Ohs first season. Michelle has also written feature scripts, stage plays, and a pilot for Danny Jacobson’s (creator/writer Mad About You) company, Infront Productions.

Michelle is also an accomplished actor, having appeared on stage and screen alongside such familiar faces as George Lopez (George Lopez Show), Wendie Malick (Just Shoot Me), Greg Germann (Ally McBeal, Talladega Nights), and Jason Wiles (Third Watch; Zodiac). She has played a wide range of characters, from a soccer mom to a psychotic murderer; from a quirky lesbian looking for love to the distraught wife of an alcoholic man looking for redemption.

Michelle earned two B.A. degrees (in English and in French) from Brigham Young University and holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature from San Francisco State University. Michelle has also studied at such well-respected schools as The Groundlings and the Beverly Hills Playhouse.

A slightly different version...
